A general ledger of its own, fed directly by sales: profit and loss, balance sheet and VAT overview. Import and match bank statements; your accountant gets a standard audit file.
A quote becomes an order confirmation, then a delivery note and finally an invoice. Each step builds on the previous one: the same lines, the same prices, the same customer. A delivery note only goes out once the contract has been signed.
